Meet the Mobile Engineering Team!

Snapsheet’s Mobile Engineering team develops forward-thinking concepts and brings them to life through Snapsheet’s applications. The team leverages a mix of creativity and cutting-edge technologies to bring product concepts to life. Take a moment to get to know the team!

What does your day to day look like?

Since I manage the Mobile Engineering team, I typically start my day by logging into Jira and reviewing our roadmap. Based on the sprint we’re currently working on, I take a few minutes to adjust my deliverables and align on my follow-ups before our team stand up begins. Since one of our team members is remote, we collaborate via Slack Workflow to keep everything moving.

Additionally, I attend meetings with other product teams to discuss new features we’re considering as well as weekly security meetings. I believe it’s important to host weekly one-on-one meetings with each member of my team to help guide them through any challenges they are facing and discuss the status of each of their projects.

I love our team! Every member of the Mobile Engineering team approaches the project differently based on their experience and background. Since our team is so diverse, everyone feels empowered to make impactful-well informed decisions to steer projects in the right direction.

I am the lead for a new product we’re developing. I spend part of my day focused on this project’s roadmap and scope. I work with designers to review incoming designs, collaborate with our Product Manager on the sprint’s requirements and JIRA workflow, and coordinate with QA to determine appropriate release and testing schedules. For the other portion of the day, I’m heads-down coding, working on new features, and bug fixes.
