Claim Customization Updates
Categories Added to Loss Types Configurations - Enhancement
Users can now modify the categories associated with their organization’s loss types via the Claim Customization page. This can be done from the new Category tab in the loss type configuration settings.

From there, users can update category associations for both system and custom loss types. Additionally, custom loss types are no longer restricted to the Other category and can now be assigned to any desired category. The available categories depend on the claim types configured in the user's Snapsheet Cloud environment.
A new Category column has also been added to the Loss Types Options table, which contains the associated categories for each loss type. Users can also filter the table by categories.

When creating claims in the FNOL View or eFNOL application (if applicable), the list of available loss types that appears when a category is selected will update automatically based on the user’s loss type configurations.
Claims Management Updates
“Other Liability” Category Name Changed - Enhancement
The “Other Liability” category has been changed to “Other.” All existing loss types that were previously associated with the “Other Liability” category will be automatically mapped to “Other.”As a result, Snapsheet Claims users will no longer see “Other Liability” as a category option when creating liability claims; instead, they will be able to use “Other.”
Financials Updates
Deleted Photos and Docs Remain Attached to Financial Transactions - Enhancements
Previously, if a photo or document that was attached to a financial transaction was deleted from the Photos and Docs section of the Claim View, the attachment would also be removed from the transaction. Now, even if a photo or document is deleted this way, it will still be attached to the financial transaction.
Snapsheet Payments Integration Updates
Integrate Payee Profiles with Snapsheet Claims - New Feature
Payee profiles can be stored in Snapsheet Transactions to reuse payee information for future payments. We've expanded this functionality by integrating payee profiles into SnapsheetClaims for customers who use Snapsheet Transactions to disburse payments. Now, adjusters will be able to see if a claim party has an existing payee profile when processing a payment.

Additionally, adjusters will have the ability to delete a payee profile if the information is incorrect or outdated.

This improves payment accuracy by allowing adjusters to verify payee information against existing profiles, helping to ensure payments are sent to the correct recipients. Reusing existing payee information also streamlines the payment process.
To utilize this feature, adjusters must have the following new permissions:
- Snapsheet Transactions Profile View Access: Allows users to see payee profiles (if one exists) when creating payments in Snapsheet Claims.
- Snapsheet Transactions Profile Delete Access: Allows users to delete payee profiles when creating payments in Snapsheet Claims.
Those permissions have also been automatically added to the following permission sets:
- Snapsheet Transactions Profile View Access
- APD - Complex - Level 3
- BI - Complex - Level 3
- Claims Manager
- Executive
- Snapsheet Transactions Profile Delete Access
- Executive
Vendor Management Updates
New Service Type: Rental - Enhancement
A new service type, Rental, has been added to Snapsheet Cloud. Users can now create vendor assignments with this service type within Snapsheet Claims or via Snapsheet’s APIs. This feature is available by default to all customers with an auto line of business.
User Management Updates
Users Licenses Available to All Customers - New Feature
In October 2024, we released a new User Licenses feature that allows organizations to store and track information about their users’ professional licenses (e.g., adjuster and appraiser licenses). We’ve also been making several enhancements to that feature since then.
That feature is now out of beta and available to all customers.
User License Import Error Messaging Improved - Enhancement
If Snapsheet Claims fails to import any user licenses, the Import modal will provide new information, including which specific rows in the imported file failed to import and why.

Workflows Updates
Exposure Closed Reason Code Condition Added - Enhancement
Users can now add conditions that allow their workflows and global events to check if a specified exposure closed reason code exists on exposure objects. To do this, add the new Exposure Closed Reason Code event property to a condition and select the desired reason code.
This change was made in preparation for the upcoming release of Exposure Closed Reason Codes. Until that feature is available, these conditions will not be applicable.
