New dedicated APIs and richer data payloads
New dedicated Liability Assignments and Liability Determinations APIs give external systems a direct path to read, create, and update liability data on a claim. When paired with the existing Percent at Fault and Responsible Party fields/workflow triggers, this closes a full loop so external systems can write a liability determination into Snapsheet, a workflow can react to it automatically, and the corrected result can flow right back out via the APIs or Event Webhooks where applicable.
For example, in a split-liability scenario, if a carrier’s business rules flag at 30% at-fault determination triggers a review for the corresponding exposure type, Snapsheet workflows can automatically create and route the task. If the adjuster were to amend the fault percentage after a deeper review.
Fewer calls, cleaner exchanges, and stronger security features
For auto claims handling, the data payload for the Injured Persons API was expanded to support less steps for carriers when handling injury claims. Bodily injury details like body part, category, severity, and type) as well as Medicare Overview data can now be created, retrieved, and updated directly in the same API call to reduce integration complexity and keep records consistent across systems.
Two enhancements streamline how external systems work with Snapsheet. Event API and Event Webhook payloads now include additional related object IDs, so integrations can act on an event without making extra calls to source those IDs. And exposure timestamps can now be modified through the Exposure API, giving teams the control they need to preserve accurate historical records during claim migrations. Alongside these, multi-factor authentication is now available in both UAT and Production, adding a verified layer of login security across the platform.

Automating on claim party, coverage, and injury detail
A broad new set of workflows triggers and conditions were made available to address the details that shape a claim including new claim party events that can fire when party information is created or updated like names, contact details, SSN, attorney representation, and more. Matching conditions can be run concurrently to check whether that information is present, and workflows have the ability to distinguish between a field that’s genuinely empty and one that is set to “no” or “false” to avoid inaccurate triggers. Empty fields can generate flags and review tasks, while “No” and “false” values can trigger the accurate next stage within the workflow.
In addition, new Coverage Name and Coverage Code conditions enable automations to evaluate an exposure's applied coverage directly, with new injured-person and vehicle license plate triggers available to continue that automation into injury handling and vehicle identification. Together, these give workflow builders more precise control over exactly when and how automation fires, especially in liability situations.
Routing claims by their defining characteristics
Valuable claim indicators like whether a claim involves subrogation, potential fraud, litigation, SIU, large loss, or underwriter review can drive automation in three ways: workflows can trigger when an indicator changes, use an indicator as a condition, or set an indicator as part of an automated process. Claims progress based on their defining characteristics, including routing to the right authority figures for review when needed, without manual handoffs.

“OK to Pay” means “cleared through compliance”
Snapsheet extended its "OK to Pay" payment controls to all exposure types through the new exposure-level Payment Control card. The control governs all claim cost-type payments, and paying a vendor tied to an estimate or total loss now requires both that item and the overall exposure to be marked "OK to Pay” to instill a clear compliance checkpoint before any transaction is created. The status is both fully available for use in workflows, and sync to the data warehouse for reporting.
Bringing manual check handling into the record
A new internal check issuance path provides an automated alternative to printing and local pickup for paper check issuance. Checks can be marked as manually issued in lieu of bank-printed, and all identifying fields like check number, issue data, and related transactions are captured in the claim history for transparency.
Deeper vendor and financial reporting detail
Vendor configuration gained a new Backup Withholding field to indicate when a percentage of payments must be withheld, available in both the platform and the Vendor APIs. New financial warehouse columns capture the exposure's status at the moment a payment or reserve item is created, adding context that helps finance and reporting teams reconstruct financial activity more accurately.

Continually sharpening ClaimSearch accuracy
Snapsheet made a series of refinements to our standout direct ISO ClaimSearch integration to continue elevating the accuracy and automation that sets it apart from traditional manual reporting. Contribution logic was updated to classify theft and liability claims more precisely and align submissions with ClaimSearch standards to improve downstream reporting and fraud detection. An additional new validation bypass option lets carriers contribute third-party vehicle exposures even when some data is missing. Rather than failing the whole contribution, only the incomplete exposures are omitted and are identified as the key details missing. This means common scenarios like empty salvage records no longer block total loss contributions and submissions can process successfully when those independent details aren’t yet available.
Turnkey salvage and title integration with Copart
Snapsheet's direct integration with Copart, a market leader in auto salvage and vehicle auctions, officially launched. Initiated by creating a salvage or title express vendor assignment, the integration uses multiple Snapsheet APIs for automatic, bi-directional data exchange and enables Copart access to the exposure details needed for triggering tasks and real-time updates in Snapsheet to keep adjusters informed throughout the assignment process. Workflows can automate around the integration at carrier discretion to further reduce manual intervention.

A range of refinements were deployed on the platform prioritizing quicker navigation, cleaner communications, and reduced friction with how adjusters naturally work each day.
Cleaner pathways through the platform
Nuanced improvements like increased instant search visibility for high-volume policies, incorporation of key claim details like VIN for auto claims for more targeted search, and adjusting the user interface to place tools like Virtual Photo Capture directly in exposure details where adjusters need them most, and an evolved and more intuitive transaction payee portal for entering bank information were all deployed to continuously improve how adjusters navigate the platform across all their claims, exposures, and daily tasks.
Enhanced communication and document handling
Communication and document workflows got noticeably smoother, with drastic increases to SMS character limit to 1,600 characters, with the added feature for long messages to be automatically segmented to eliminate the need for manual splitting. Documents already on a claim can now be attached directly to vendor tasks without re-uploading, and removing a document from a task leaves it on the claim file. In addition, the Photos and Documents experience was upgraded to automatically detect and remove duplicate images and documents from inbound emails to cut the clutter email signatures are prone to adding.
